Our History

Fundação Bradesco was organized in 1956 by Amador Aguiar, the founder of Banco Bradesco, with the purpose of providing education and professionalization to children, teenagers and adults. Its first school opened on June 29th., 1962 in Cidade de Deus (Osasco, SP), with 300 students and seven teachers. Nowadays there are 40 schools, in 26 States and in the Federal District, with 108,151 students. The schools form a sociocultural reference in the regions where they are located. These communities see in Fundação Bradesco, the possibility to widen their work and realization horizons. In each unit, the ethical principles that guide collective and individual actions are multiplied. These units are known by the quality of work and excellent substructure; for this reason, there is a large demand for enrollment, in all courses offered, by the residents of each region.
